This is actually one of my favorite American Holidays. Being from the Belizean Culture Thanksgiving isn’t one the the Holidays we celebrate. The reason why I love this holiday is not only because of the foods and the days off from work, but just the family time. I Love spending time w/ my family. The older I get the more we grow apart but it’s always nice to spend this day together eating and drinking.
I’ve also decided that while I will be spending time w/ my family, I will be starting my own traditions as well. So I’ll be cooking and doing my own thing too. I’ve always had a fantasy of Hanging w/ my family, having an after party with my Girlfriends in the evening/night and spending time w/ someone special. We will see how it all turns out.

Vickie Beckham is actually one of my all time favorite designers… I love this look, here’s a little background on it: those leather “pants” are actually leather leg warmers (clipped into her Louboutins) to pull off the dress-over-pants, this was all over the Spring collections. Sure, the style requires a little risk taking, but if you’re game, it’s definitely a look to try.
I love the smell of Autumn in Chicago… Yellow and red leaves everywhere… the crisp air… I just love it! With the change of season comes a change in style… My personal style this fall has definitely changed, I’ve accepted it and embraced it. With a new age comes a new age appropriate style…. I’m cutting back on the spandex lol For me personally I think it’s getting age inappropriate… My personal style now consists of sweaters… big and flowy sweaters, skinny jeans/ skinny slacks for work and boots… I’m sure I will be told that I’ve toned it down, but that’s alright with me…
Above are some example of some sweaters I personally love, heather grey one of my favorite colors but you can do so much with it. These Sweaters you can dress up and down. Ofcourse I threw in the boots for a sexy and clean finish… More Fall posts coming!!!
